End of Year Campaign Update: You’ve already made an impact!
Watch this video to see how donations like yours are funding rainforest guardians like Vavikely in Madagascar to create solutions that benefit the health of people and the planet.
Directing funds and resources to Indigenous Peoples, Afro-descendants, and local communities in rainforests is climate justice. Their work safeguards Earth’s ‘natural capital’ — the forests, biodiversity, and ecosystem services on which all life depends. Their traditional knowledge and expertise guarantee the systems that regulate our climate and health.
Vavikely is one of these people. In March 2025, she joined the FAGNIMBOGNA project and received training in vegetable cultivation from NY TANINTSIKA, dedicating her work to sustainable agriculture and reforestation.
Thanks to you, we’re more than halfway towards our goal of raising $400,000 to recognize and resource rainforest guardians in 2026. But we still need your help.
This giving season, we’re raising funds to support Equity Over Extractivism – that means recognizing and resourcing rainforest communities, now.
