The Community Thriving Narratives (CTN) represents a move away from narrow, top-down evaluation approaches. While traditionally outside experts have assessed impact using methodologies that often overlook the essential social, spiritual, and cultural aspects of well-being, the CTN is developed with Indigenous Peoples, Afro-descendants, and local communities, reflecting their lived experiences, cultural wisdom, and sovereignty in governing their own paths toward sustainability and self-determination.
