Manushi Sharma
Manushi Sharma is from the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand, where the culture deeply honors the inextricable connection between people and nature. This early wisdom shaped her journey as a public health and environmental justice strategist, with over a decade of experience across the UN, governments, and grassroots movements.
Her expertise lies at the intersection of climate-informed health systems strengthening, mixed-methods evaluation, and participatory design that pluralizes evidence and amplifies local voices in global policy spaces. A firm believer that systemic change is sustained through care, reciprocity, and radical listening, she works to bridge global strategies with community wisdom to ensure health and ecological outcomes are mutually reinforcing.
She currently serves as Co‑Lead of the Environmental Justice Team at the U.S. Partnership for Education for Sustainable Development.
Manushi is also a nature-inspired watercolor artist, using her creative practice to reflect on the emotional and ecological dimensions of justice and healing.
