Eduardo Cetlin is a trusted social impact leader with more than two decades of experience in harnessing the power of philanthropic resources to improve lives. He has overseen the deployment of over $350M in financial support to nonprofits through meaningful initiatives, and $10 billion in medicine donations to provide access to patients in need.

Eduardo currently serves as Managing Director at the Deutsch Foundation, in Los Angeles. In this capacity, he oversees the foundation’s programs and operations activities, and ensures it continues to drive meaningful impact while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and deep connections with the community.

Between 2022 and 2025, Eduardo lived in his native Belo Horizonte, Brazil with his family. There, he co-led the conversion of Associação Nossa Cidade into a community foundation, co-founding the Belo Fund, the city’s first of its kind. He also co-founded Biome Solutions, a start-up advancing sustainable agricultural production systems. Outside work, he wrote the biography of his grandfather, a Polish refugee in Brazil, and played the saxophone in a street brass band.

Before returning to his native Brazil, Eduardo was president of the Amgen Foundation in Thousand Oaks, California. There, he transformed the organization into a global leading funder in science education, reaching more than 50 million learners and tens of thousands of teachers.

Eduardo holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA and a bachelor's degree in Business from UFMG in Brazil. He is married to Luciana and they are proud parents to two bilingual, bi-cultural daughters, Alice and Ana Paula.
