Ariele Freitas Curuaia
Ariele Freitas Curuaia is a riverside and Indigenous woman from Altamira, Pará, raised in the Extractive Reserve of the Xingu River. Deeply rooted in the values of her territory—respect for nature, community, and ancestral knowledge—she brings a unique perspective to her work.
For the past three years, Ariele has been a dedicated team member at SAMA-HIH, contributing to health promotion and the strengthening of traditional forest communities. She provides essential support in patient coordination within the city, organizes documentation, manages medicine inventory, and assists with a range of administrative and logistical tasks.
Ariele is currently pursuing a degree in Agronomic Engineering at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA).
