Journey to Borneo

Every year, we take a group of supporters to explore Indonesia and see the impact of our work. Our next Journey to Borneo will be May 13-26, 2017.

The focus of our trip will be visiting our partner ASRI in the remote, small town of Sukadana, which borders the incredible Gunung Palung National Park. Travelers will see the newly-completed Community Hospital and Training Center and experience first-hand the health and conservation programs that are making a profound difference in the lives of community members. After our time at ASRI, participants will travel on traditional klotok boats through Tanjung Puting National Park. During this leisurely voyage, you will be surrounded by stunning views and wildlife, including up-close orangutan viewings. To wrap up our time together, we will travel to Kaliandra Eco-Resort in Surabaya for reflection, rejuvenation, and to hear about Health In Harmony’s plans for scaling up our work.
